Connecting QuickBooks
Optional, about a minute, and Brushline only ever adds.
QuickBooks is optional; everything works without it. Connecting saves typing.
- Go to Company settings and choose Connect QuickBooks (or use the reminder on Home).
- Sign in to QuickBooks on Intuit's page, the same login you already use.
- Choose Connect. You're back in Brushline, connected.
What it does
- Setup: brings in your crew's names, and last year's sales and overhead from your Profit and Loss. QuickBooks doesn't share pay rates, so you enter pay.
- New estimates: offers your QuickBooks customers as you type.
- Won jobs: adds the job to QuickBooks. See What Brushline adds to QuickBooks.
- Job costs: time entries and expenses tagged to the job come back on their own.
Disconnecting
Company settings → Disconnect. Everything already brought in stays in Brushline.
