What Brushline adds to QuickBooks
A customer, a job under them, and an estimate. Never changes or deletes.
On a won job, the QuickBooks box says in plain words what will be added before anything is. Choose Add to QuickBooks and Brushline adds:
- The customer, unless they're already your QuickBooks customer (picked on the estimate, or a customer with exactly the same name).
- A sub-customer for the job, named with the customer, estimate number, and address. Tag your crew's time and the job's expenses to it in QuickBooks.
- An estimate for the price, with a "Painting" service item (added once if you don't have one). Turn it into an invoice in QuickBooks as usual.
Brushline only adds records. It never changes or deletes anything already in your books.
