Reading the price and the verdict

The price box shows the price, the job's costs, the margin you keep, and a verdict:

• Healthy: at or above your target margin.
• Watch: below your target but above your minimum. You'll make money, just less than you aim for.
• Losing money: below your minimum margin. After this job's share of overhead, it costs you money.

How did we get this? under any number shows every step: hours by kind of work, gallons and buckets of paint, and how the price was set.

Pricing by the square foot

If you price by the square foot, Brushline uses your prices and still works out the real costs underneath, so you see the margin your prices actually leave, and the price that would hit your target.
